Journey to Love

Monday Morning!

I guess you would like to get on with the bottom line? What do I have on my mind? Do I have a practical suggestion?

Isn't it enough that we have been told for so long who we have to be and how we have to live?

Isn't it time for us to start looking for an answer within ourselves?

Yep, it is easy to say, but how to get there?

I'll be posting and writing about different topics that will cover and answer many questions we may have.

Belief, Marriage, Love, Consciousness, Self-Realization and more.....I'll be enhancing my site in a process, and one of the important features, such as comments, will be added later, so I can get responses and, f course, critiques from you, readers!

All the knowledge I have comes from extensive reading, contemplating on life, observing myself and people around, and experiencing life with self-awareness.

Mental Prozac!

Some days we feel sad or depressed due to the chemical unbalance in our body, but we are not aware of that. Our mind, constantly on guard, tries to find the reason and associations for that feeling. There is always something we are not satisfied with. Either it is not enough money, or loneliness. The list of complaints goes on and on.

We pick out one of those buggers and dwell on it. Our mind doesn't stop for a second, talking us into depression. So, now we prolong the chemical process with the thinking one (thought is an energy, mind over matter). Sometimes it goes on for days or longer… And it all started just with feeling sad.

I have a little drill; I call it "Mental Prozac". :-) When I get sad or feel down, I run the 'Master List" which consists of the following check up questions:

1) Is there a tragedy in my life at the moment? Like someone dear to me died, or I lost a job, or I went through break up (those events require a different approach, not covered in this drill)? NO.

2) Is my body dehydrated? Sometimes 2 glasses of water will pick me up (Those who don't drink enough water, don't know that they are dehydrated most of the time, which manifests in the body as low energy, headache, etc…) NO

3) Did I drink too much alcohol the day before? Yep… alcohol dehydrates to the point that the next day one might be anxious and depressed… very gloomy state … NO

4) Perhaps I need to nourish my body with some nice nutrients like banana, turkey, etc…. NO

5) Did any recent activities or observations trigger this sad state within? Don't know…At least I wasn't conscious of it...

There is no need to associate this state with any mental description; this is just as valid (to be sad) as to be happy. Be sad! As sad as it gets!))))

But don't associate this with any mental creation of yours. You are fine!

Our mind needs to tag everything, attach the mental description to anything that's happening to us or around us! If you feel an urge to label it with any thought, like “I am sad!” make it a mantra…

Obviously, it takes time to get used to, sort of install this code into your mind. At first you might be able to do it for 1 minute (yep, that’s how automatic our thinking is), but don’t give up and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how this routine will change those bad days.

You need to witness that first emotional 'WOW' while, or after running the 'Master List"…Kind of witness that THIS WORKS!

From there on, it'll be easier to remember the drill, until it becomes automatic.

Good Luck! Create conscious moments!

Friday!

You see what you expect, and you expect what you invite. Your perception is the result of your invitation, coming to you as you sent for it. Whose manifestations would you see? Of whose presence would you be convinced? For you believe in what you manifest, and as you look out so will you see in. Two ways of looking at the world are in your mind, and your perception will reflect the guidance you have chosen.

A Course in Miracles

Sweet Monday :-)

I remember having chills every Sunday night. "Tomorrow is Monday!" It would spoil my Sunday night, because I couldn't think about anything else. Monday would occupy my mind. It was all unconscious, of course.

When I started asking myself: "Why do I feel this way?" Sure enough, I got an answer: 'Well, everyone feels this way about Monday, they talk about it all the time." Then I thought: Is it possible to change the way I feel about it? I could try to change my thinking.

So I did! I'll elaborate on this in one of my articles.

Positive thinking (part 1)

I have friends who talk about "positive thinking, "affirmations," but they go back to thinking and behaving the only way they "know" - nothing changes.

If we don't expand our consciousness so we can see ourselves, remember, those few minutes of "positive thinking" will not change anything.

We have no idea how automatic we are! The first step is to see and realize it. And let me tell you, this is not achievable over night.

You can start with the following practice: mark the start time and try to remember yourself by concentrating on your breathing and your being in that moment.

You'll not be able to do this for more than a minute. Your nervous system will take you right back to an "established" routine. The Nervous system is in control!

Your mind will find all kind of excuses such as "I just don't have patience, or I don't want to do this." Of course, we don't want to accept that we are not in control!

Positive Thinking (part 2)

What is positive thinking? Is it having optimistic, constructive, upbeat thoughts? How often? All the time? Sometimes?

Everything in the physical world is dual and has its opposite polarity.

The amount of "negative" stuff is exactly the same as the amount of "positive" stuff.

However, they often are spread in time and space and therefore appear as separate.

You've probably heard about the Karma concept. This is it: For every “positive" aspect, we have to experience "negative" as well. The obvious example would be cold and hot water.

If you stay in cold water long enough, it is not cold anymore. You need to change that state to the opposite one in order to experience it once again.

Ponder this!

Understanding how the physical world is being manifested day to day, hour to hour, and minute to minute will change your attitude toward life.

This change will reflect your thinking process. You will understand, accept and allow….LOVE!

Change from inside out transforms. Expand your Consciousness!

Positive Thinking (part 3)

Let me begin by saying that there is no positive or negative energy. All energy is neutral until WE personalize it.

It is this personalization process that gives it a negative or positive image. To experience life to the fullest we have to accept both images. It's the Positive and Negative Energy that breathe life into, or take it away from, the physical universe. To realize the above is to acquire the “POSITIVE FRAME OF MIND”!

Every battery has two poles or terminals -- one marked positive (+) the other negative (-). The negative pole or terminal has more electrons than it needs, and the positive pole has a lack of electrons.

When you connect the two poles of a battery with a wire, a current made up of electrons moves through it so the electrons can move from the negative terminal to the positive terminal.

Positive thinking means seeing the world as a perfect place, being able to freely express any emotion, being flexible (no fixations of any kind, even positive), flowing.

Changes

I had to change the heading. After two weeks of blogging, I realized that relationships are just a part of what I'd like to write about.

Accelerating Change

The Big Bang or whatever it was, happened ten billion years ago (give or take a couple of billion years)

The evolution of simple life forms began four billion years ago. Multi cellular life appeared a billion or so years ago.

The evolution of complex nervous systems, made possible by the emergence of vertebrates, began several hundred million years ago.

Mammals appeared tens of millions of years ago.The genus Homo first stood on the planet a couple of million years ago.

Homo sapiens, appeared several hundred thousand years ago. The shift to Homo sapiens sapiens that was triggered by the emergence of language and tool use, and which resulted in the Agricultural Revolution, began tens of thousands of years ago.

Civilization -- the movement into towns and cities -- started several thousand years ago. The Industrial Revolution began a few centuries ago. And Information Revolution is but a few decades old.

Each new development has occurred in a fraction the time of the previous one -- somewhere between a quarter and a tenth the time which may suggest faster and more profound change in the future.!

Happiness

We are searching for an ultimate happiness. We want to feel good!

The search for something different than what we have at the moment is inevitable. It is the life energy within that stirs up and moves us to a different state of being.

Life is a change! Life is an energy! Energy movement is always up and down. Up is the moment of happiness, down is the opposite.

Those “up” moments are accepted totally by us. “Down” times are rejected, repressed, and pushed away.

Have you noticed how we go experience the happy moment? It goes by so quickly! That’s why we probably call it just a “moment.”

What if we accept a down “time” and stay with it, experience it totally? Will it become a “moment?”

Accepting means not attaching any mental description to that feeling of sadness, trying to explain why you feel this way. The attempt to explain it creates resistance, as if this feeling is not valid. Just feel it!

Stay with it. It will be a "moment!"

Happiness is not a feeling, it is a state of mind!

Know Yourself!

There are so many sites dedicated to this subject: Know Yourself! We have more than enough information on this topic. How many of us can really say that they know? Knowing could be conceptual and it is a start, but we need to know with the whole being. I call it three dimensional knowing.

Let's be honest, we don't know where to start and how to do that. To know yourself! What is Self?

Just a note

I love discovering and reading articles on the Internet. Some of them I've been sharing with you on my website.
